- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Impersonate Indicops, its journalists, editors, or any other person
- Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam)
3. Intellectual Property
All content published on Indicops — including articles, graphics, logos, photographs, video, audio, and data — is the intellectual property of Indicops or its respective authors and licensors, and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and applicable international copyright laws.
You may share individual articles by linking to the original URL. Brief quotations (up to 50 words) with proper attribution are permitted under fair use. Any reproduction beyond this requires written permission from legal@indicops.in.
4. User Accounts
If you register for an account on Indicops, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at legal@indicops.in of any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or misrepresent credentials (e.g., fraudulently claiming journalist status).
5. User-Submitted Content
By submitting tips, comments, letters, or other content to Indicops (including through the AI Signal feature), you grant Indicops a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to publish, reproduce, and adapt that content for editorial purposes. You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
Indicops reserves the right to edit, reject, or remove any user-submitted content at its sole discretion.
6. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. Indicops does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked third-party site.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. Indicops does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
